Similarities
Big events that i managed to recall back and can be blogged.
8/7: Reach tekong
9/7: First pull up regiment. To my surprise, the very first time i managed to pull 6 pull up. However to our horror, everyday we will need to do three sets of pull up. Sequentially after a few days of pull up, i can only do 5 pull up.
11/7: Take arms (rifle). A big parade event with a few companies gather togather. Rifle was given to us by our respective pc (platoon commander). It was conducted in the night with no or little light because ***********************************. ( ask any army guys or me if you want).
12/7: Road March (4km). Marching togather as a company. Little yelling or screaming. Most of us was mumbling the army songs.
13/7: Report sick. It was because of my boots that cause cuts and moderate wounds on my feet. Anyway i get scolding from the mo (medical officer) for not wanting any status. 7 days of excuse from footwear is given. ( This status means I CANT TAKE PART IN ANY ACTIVITIES BECAUSE I CAN ONLY WEAR SLIPPER.) The feeling of sitting at one corner watching at your platoon/company mates suffering is not very good. So i keep pestering my pc (platoon commander) and duty sergeant for permission to join in. haha. After 3-5 days from my status, i managed to join most of the activities. However, permission to join in soc ( standard obstacle course) was denied. Soc got test and i skipped two lessons already. Arghz. (Recommendation: Those having boots problems, i advise you to wear two sock with alot of snake powder and put some newspaper or cardboard on the part of the boots that causes you pain. Remember to buy those wounds cream that prevent infection too.)
18/7: Shooting of computerised m16.
20/7: Road march (6km). I was one of the idiots that tagged along screaming and yelling the army songs. Now my throat is feeling unwell. I pity the lead singer too, his throat must have gone bursting. haha. However, it was fun as my platoon mates keep changing the lyrics of the songs.
21/7: In the morning, my pc conducted SOC ( i cannot join in). This day is also our first book out day. Nothing to be excited about. The whole day was used to buy army things.
22/7: Today is my book in. It also marks the end of the holiday period.
Between each big events i recalled, there are alot other activities. Example: Strength training, weight training, swimming categorisation, IA test and etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc. ( Too many to remember).
Time is never enough.
