Week2 Bmt (Company)

Bmtc consist of two school. School 1 and 2. In one school, there are around ten company. In one company, there are four platoon. In one platoon, there are four sections. One section consist of 13 man. So one platoon have around 50+ man and one company may have around 200+ man.

I'm in Bronco company. Bronco is a stallion. I know some of you* will laugh about it. But at least i not in H company. Given another chance, i will also prefer to stay in this company again because it is good.

This (B) company is run by warrant officers ( non commission officers). They are those that work their way up from sergeant to warrant officers. All of them have many years of experience. Many of them are father and are above 36+. There are only 2-3 company in the whole bmtc run by warrant officers. ( Whole bmtc have around 20 plus company)

After hearing rumors about other company, i can counted myself very lucky to enter into this company. Company run warrant officers are damn good. They put welfare of the solider in the first priority. They are more understanding and take very good care of soliders. They always tells us jokes and things that they experience in their days of army. When it is time for discipline, they can be very strict. They will yell at you if you did something wrong which void the army rules or you didnt do what they told you because they know that the action might causes injuries to you. All their scolding have vaild reasons for our well being. And when comes to relaxation times, they will treat us like their sons/students, not an army personal. They know what a solider wants and they will join us in our activities whenever they are free from works. (Example: I saw before the oc jog beside the slowest man and encourage him). These are the man that people/i respect.

Especially my oc ( company commander), he would write meaningful thought of the day (which maybe he experienced through life) at the whiteboard. When i happen to passby the board i will take a look.

Example of the quotes are;

1) "When a man was dying, he would not regret for not going to ocs, sispec or haven't achieve anything. All he would regret is he didnt spend enough time with his wife, family and loved ones.

2) "After every sunshine rain, you will have rainbow."
- After every hardship, there will be better ending

3) In one life, i can give you my 50 years of knowledge. But if you do not know how to use it, the 50 years of knowledge goes into drain.

4) Slowly but surely we will excel.

5) etc etc
There are plenty more which i had forgotten or didnt have the time to take a look.

My oc is also a family man. He will always remind us to call back home and also to give hug to our parents and sliblings when we book out.

Compare our company to company run by commission officers ( those go through ocs), we are in heaven. Most of the commission officers are ar****** because they obtain the rank of officer at a very young age and are commission by the president. Also there are more things about them which i dont want to comment on futher. Only a few of them are friendly. For those that are going in at september, now start praying that you go into company run by warrant officers.
