Color parade ( Like pop parade, with the navy music and the head turn. But this is more stress because only have five contingents and the rsm can spot your mistakes easily. This is where lots of ppl get confinements)

When our jrc course start at oct, we will start to learn new things. Now they keep asking us to clear our leaves before our course commences and I still havent figure out when to take leave.
As for smoker, those one day didnt smoke will die or those smoking is their only thing in life. You better pray you are not posted to navy or you don't sign on navy. The training camp is strictly smoke free. No smoking. Not even a packet. You can still smoke illegaly but when you got caught, there goes your 4 weekends!
By the way, anyone have any good books to recommend?

Navy training base
ok.. I now under navy. Tml i will be staying in. Only weekends will be booking out.
Basically we will go through 5 weeks of physcial training and around 10 weeks of junior ranking course (basic navy course). Afterwhich, we will post to different vocations and will undergo another 16++ weeks of vocation training.
Adding all up togather, i will staying for at least 8 months at the naval training base before i actually can post to naval base!... Train and train. ZZZ. haha
If you like to swim, i strongly suggest that u join the navy. It is because we will have two swimming lesson everyday. One in the early morning and another in the late afternoon. Swim SWim SWIm and SWIM...
And the cruel fact is; if we fail our swimming cat 1 test or do something "stupid", we might post back to army. ArgHZ
The good point about navy is; these 5 weeks the admin time is just after 6pm, but this provided that we dont have any remedial lessons.

Change is the only constant thing in life
Life goes on.
At each phase of our life, we may learn and experience new things. Our mind set and attitude towards life may change. We will have a different set of life goals and our circle of friends will also increase. There are big and small changes in your life.
And when the phase end, there is also changes. You learn from your mistakes and become smarter. Your friends or loved ones part with you and you follow your own path. You come to a new phase of life and the circle continue.
Changes in life is unavoidable. I still remember that someone told me that change is the only constant thing in life.
Neverthless, all these changes are bits and pieces of the journey to be a better man.

How your life will be depends on how you look at it.
I been posted to navy as a NVL CBT SYS OPR. Intially i was unhappy about my posting because of a few reasons. Anyway navy had never in my mind as i'm a bad swimmer. So this posting was a real shock to me.
However, now i'm at least mentally prepared to go to navy. It's gone to be a new learning experience for me. haa.
Come to think of it, my brothers and i all have different vocations/forces during our ns. My eldest bro was in the army, my second bro was in the police, while i was posted to navy. What my younger bro will be? Airforce or civil defence? haaa. We shall see. By the way thank Bronco for everything; for the wonderful bmt i had. It is the place where i'm born as a nsf. POP week..
One of the worst week i had. Everything was in rush. Activities are compacted togather like hell. Making us wanting to give up.
GP rehearsal: Everyone were being scolded like shit. Train the drill till mad.
24KM: 5 coys march togather. Even though everyone was tired but we just push ourselves though it. The morale was damn high when we reach the last 4km. Our oc brought kitkat for us and it was given to us in two interval of the rest.. HaaA. BRONCO! Platoon Night: Last hoo La... Gather all food and had party. Spraying of platoon best. haa SOC: It was done this morning, just before our pop. ArghZ. Totally tired. Fortunately i managed to run though every obstacles with one try. When you are very tired, you become crazy. Haa
POP: Although i had no one coming to the parade, i still enjoyed myself. It is because i go camera hopping. Running here and there. Laughing like shit.

BAC, Recruit Evening & Games Day
Basic Assault Course: This is crazy. Leopard crawl and back crawl in muddy area. Commanders pour water to the soil to make it muddier. Even worse, some lane may have cow dung. After the course, everyone was soaked with mud and the smell was unbearable. Haa.
Recruit evening: Our oc evening performance was selected to perform on recruit evening. ArgHZ. Doing the chickens dance with half naked body in front of CO and 9 companys.. That is alot of people.. haa. We got third for that performance!
Games day: It RAIN!!!! The games day was half ruined. Our mascot and banners were to move in to the hall to perform. It was not good as we planned because of the insuffcient space we had. Our banners are the tallest and biggest among the 9 coys. The banner was about one storey tall and it need at least 6 people to move that thing. haa. Anyway we got third for banner and the five of us (banner team) is going to leave our names down on the banner.
