Just watch finish almost famous. Quite a nice and heart warming show.
It talks about a 15 years old boy, with an well-meaning but overbearing mother, hired by a magazine company to tour with, and write about an up and coming 1970 rock band. The aspiring young rock journalist falls face first to confront life, love, and lingo.
"Rock and roll is about lifestyle and way of thinking. Not about money and popularity, although some money will be nice. But is the voice that say here i am and f*** you if you cant understand me."

Singapore Navy to escort merchant ships to stop terrorism

SINGAPORE -- Armed escorts from the Singapore Navy will guard selected merchant ships and cruise liners plying the city-state's busy waters as part of efforts to prevent terrorism, the defense ministry said Monday.
The Accompanying Sea Security Teams (ASSeT) scheme will be launched sometime in March, a ministry spokesperson said.
The Straits Times newspaper reported Monday that up to eight navy personnel capable of running a commercial vessel in an emergency will board selected ships which might be threatened because of their cargo.
The team will include a seaman, an engineering specialist and a radio operator. They will don bulletproof vests and carry weapons like carbines and pistols but have no powers of arrest, which will rest with the Police Coast Guard.
"We don't call them sea marshals, which is more aggressive," Colonel Chng Teow Hiang, commander of the navy's coastal command, told the daily.
"This is a team giving you added security while transiting, not going on board to search and turn tables," he said.
The report noted that about 1,000 vessels transit the Singapore Strait daily, ranging from massive tankers and container ships to ferries and barter trading boats linking Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
According to a study published by Singapore's Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, the global maritime industry is vulnerable to a major terrorist attack. Singapore is one of the world's busiest port cities.
Terrorists could use ships to transport operatives, equipment or weapons, raise money through legal or illicit trade, and attack larger vessels like the USS Cole, which was hit in Yemen's Aden harbor in October 2000, it said.
Oil and chemical tankers could be rigged as floating bombs, the report said.
It also said the exposure of a black market in nuclear weapons technology has heightened fears that terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda could get their hands on weapons of mass destruction and move them by sea to attack major cities.

- Life is unpredictable. Feb 2005 i was still in school, one year later and i was in a new place. New guys are coming in at may, my training phrase is ending soon and my ord is 1 yr 1 month from now.

Good friday
Luckily my good friday was not taken away by training.
5-0. I lost again, a crushing defeat. It is not a soccer game but a game of ours.
The person riding on the cloud makes it rain heavily yesterday due to "some reasons". But luckily it stopped and we had a few jolly hours at ecp. Neverthless it is only a few hours, we had a lot of fun.
In the end, black sticky crude oil stick at our feet, making our flip flop to stick flop. Back at home, we were still unable to wash it away. So try not to swim at the sea, especially when you saw alot of ships anchorage outside.
As for telepathy, i am starting to believe in. Maybe i should do more test, the result is astounding.

My good friday!
Today my training boarding was cancelled due to the unpredicted ETD timing. Actually it was a last minute thing, we had already wear all our equipments, done our briefing and reach the berth then the news of the new ETD timing came to us.
It was a stupid joke because my weekend was ruined for nothing. Merchant ship have unforeseen ETD/ETA so i was at home to standby for sudden changes. Time wasted and this boarding is not counted. All efforts gone wasted.
So this week my team never clocked any training boarding so it means next week we might have to do 2 boarding.
My good friday and weekend are in peril. :(
I hope that it will not take away my good friday and saturday.
